About the Board
of Directors |
The Board of Directors is the principal
decision-making body within the Digital Entertainment
Group Europe. Its roles and responsibilities include
managing the organisation’s resources, setting
group strategy and overseeing the activities of the
various DEGE committees. The Board’s membership
comprises of international studio directors and senior
members of their supply chain partners.

Yves Caillaud
Senior
Vice President, EMEA, Warner Home Video and
Digital Distribution
Yves Caillaud is Senior Vice
President, EMEA, Warner Home Video and Digital
Distribution, part of the Warner Home Entertainment
Group. A home entertainment industry veteran
of seventeen years, Caillaud has oversight of
the European home video and digital distribution
operations for Warner Bros., responsible for
making Warner Bros.' filmed entertainment content
available to audiences through as many channels,
platforms and devices as possible across EMEA.
Prior to this role, he held
a range of senior management and sales and marketing
roles across Warner Home Video, beginning as
Marketing Director for France and rising through
the organization, as MD for WHV France, VP Europe,
supervising Nordic, Spain, Italy, Eastern Affiliates
and Israel and SVP, EMEA.
Before joining Warner
Home Video in 1992, Yves Caillaud held a number
of marketing roles in international companies,
as a Marketing Director for CPC Best Foods and
previously, with American Tobacco France and
Gerber Baby Foods. He was President of France
Video Association between 2001 and 2003 and
has been Chairman and Board Director of DEGE
since 2007. He holds an MBA from HEC Business
School, Paris.

Don Hunton
Executive
Vice President, EMEA, Paramount Home Entertainment
Don Hunton is Executive Vice
President for Europe, Middle East and Africa
for Paramount Home Entertainment, a position
he has held since July 2007. Prior to that Don
was responsible for the UK and Asia Pacific
region, based out of Australia. Before joining
Paramount, Don held senior management positions
in both the UK and Australia with MGM and Disney,
having joined the industry in 1993 from GSK
Consumer Products.

Cecilia Tosting
Senior
Vice-President and General Manager, Walt Disney
Studios Home Entertainment, EMEA
Cecilia Tosting is the Senior
Vice President and General Manager of The Walt
Disney Studios Home Entertainment, EMEA, and
is a member of the European Management Board
of The Walt Disney Company.
In her role, Tosting oversees
all sales, marketing, operations and finance
functions of the studio’s Disney Animated
and Live-Action, Disney Channel, Preschool,
Baby Einstein, Disney ABC International TV product,
Miramax and Touchstone home entertainment properties
for EMEA. This includes wholly owned subsidiaries
and licensees’ relationships in Europe,
Middle East and Africa regions.
Tosting joined Disney in 1992,
and has held a variety of roles within the organization,
most recently she held the role of Senior Vice
President and Managing Director for Italy and
Spain, where she led her teams to become marketplace
leaders in both countries, overseeing launches
of some landmark releases, including High School
Musical, the #1 selling TV on DVD release, the
Pirates of the Caribbean films, the top selling
live-action DVD franchise and building top 10
results on both the Disney Platinum collection
and Direct to Video titles.
Born in Sweden, Cecilia Tosting
received a University degree in Finance and
Marketing from the School of Business of the
University of Stockholm. Tosting currently divides
her time between the UK and Italy.

Johnny Fewings
Vice
President of Strategic Initiatives, Universal
Pictures International Entertainment
Johnny is a record and film
industry veteran of 33 years and is currently
the VP for Strategic Initiatives at Universal
Pictures International Entertainment (UPIE),
the home entertainment arm of Universal Pictures.
Starting behind the counter
at Virgin Records in 1976, Johnny rose to become
the first manager of the famed London Megastore
in 1979 and became MD of Virgin Retail in 1981.
He held this position until 1988, during which
time he oversaw the expansion of the chain into
Europe and Australia, as well as establishing
the Virgin Megastore brand. Leaving retail to
move into video publishing, Johnny held posts
with Parkfield Entertainment and Pearson before
becoming deputy MD of Vision Video Ltd (VVL),
a video publishing imprint of Polygram Records
UK.
VVL specialised in non-film
entertainment, particularly comedy, and was
largely responsible for creating the comedy-on-video
market for which the UK is a field leader, representing
artists such as Billy Connolly, Lee Evans, Peter
Kay, Ricky Gervais and Eddie Izzard.
Following Polygram’s
acquisition by Universal, Johnny became Joint
MD of UPIE in 2002, holding this position until
2007 when he took up his current role.

John McMahon
Managing
Director, Europe, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment
John McMahon is Managing Director,
Europe, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE).
McMahon oversees SPHE’s European division
and is responsible for its DVD, Blu-ray and
digital distribution businesses. He also serves
as the liaison for all European home entertainment
activities with other Sony divisions, including
Sony Electronics, PlayStation, Sony Ericsson
and Sony Music Entertainment.
Prior to joining SPHE, McMahon
was President and Managing Director, Europe,
Sony Pictures Television (SPT) with oversight
of all television businesses in Europe. During
his 12 years managing the European television
group the distribution, production and networks
businesses achieved significant revenue growth
and geographic expansion.
McMahon joined Sony
Pictures Entertainment (SPE) in Los Angeles
in 1990, serving initially in the legal division,
and moved to the international television division
in 1995. He relocated to London in late 1997.
McMahon received a JD degree and an MBA degree
from the University of Southern California and
he earned a BS degree in Business Administration
from the University of California at Berkeley.

Marc Caux
Senior
Vice President, Southern Europe, Twentieth Century
Fox Home Entertainment
Marc Caux is Senior Vice President,
Southern Europe at 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment
and has been in his current role since 2007.
Prior to joining Fox, Caux was Managing Director
at Warner Home Video in Brazil and later in
Canada. He began his home entertainment career
at Warner in 1991 as Head of its Key Accounts
team in France tasked with building its sell-through
business. Caux temporarily left Warner in 1996
to join Disneyland Paris as head of Sales and
Marketing for the theme park’s French
business and came back in 2000. Caux has a deep
Sales and Marketing background beginning in
the food sector. He holds degrees in Biology
and Business from the University of Paris XIII
and ISCM, respectively.

Simon Staines
Vice
President, International, arvato
Staines has over 10 years
experience in the home entertainment industry
and has been supporting the major Hollywood
and independent studios across international
territories throughout this time. With a number
of senior positions to his name, he now manages
the physical and digital supply chain services
that arvato provides to the major studios in
international territories.

Jonathan Beardsworth
Vice
President, Sales and Marketing, Europe, Technicolor
Jonathan Beardsworth is Vice
President, Sales and Marketing, Europe, Technicolor
and has been with the company since 2006. Beardsworth
is responsible for every aspect of sales and
marketing for Technicolor’s European businesses
in replication and distribution across all sectors,
including video, games, software, promotional
and retail activities. Prior to his current
role, Beardsworth spent the previous five years
as Senior Vice President, European Commercial
Operations for EMI.
Beardsworth is also
the leader of the New and Emerging Technologies
Taskforce.

Jonathan Beddows
Vice
President, Commercial and Business Affairs,
Cinram Europe
Jonathan Beddows is Vice President
Commercial and Business Affairs for Cinram Europe.
Beddows oversees some of the key studio contractual
and supply chain relationships for Cinram in
Europe covering its DVD, Blu-ray and distribution
businesses. Beddows is also responsible for
Cinram’s European business development
strategy which in addition to Cinram’s
core logistical functions encompasses Cinram’s
retail distribution, games, digital distribution
and new business channel strategies.
During his 12 years with Cinram
Beddows has fulfilled a variety of commercial
roles both nationally and internationally during
which time Cinram has established itself as
a key player in the provision in the Entertainment
Supply Chain Services.
Prior to joining Cinram
in 1997, Beddows worked for VideoPrint in the
UK and for Intervisual Advertising in London
and the United States. Beddows has a BA (Hons
2.1) in Economics and Geography and an MSc (Economics)
from the London School of Economics and Political
Science.
